대전시교육감 선거가 본궤도에 오른 가운데, 지역 법조계와 학계의 신망이 두터운 손종학 전 충남대학교 법학전문대학원장(현 교수)이 성광진 대전시교육감 예비후보 지지를 선언하며 캠프의 ‘사령탑’인 상임선대위원장직을 맡기로 했다.
손 전 원장은 16일 성광진 예비후보에 대한 지지를 공식화하며 “성 예비후보는 교육 현장의 고질적인 문제를 정확히 꿰뚫고 있을 뿐만 아니라, 이를 해결할 법적·제도적 대안까지 치밀하게 준비된 후보”라고 치켜세웠다.
특히 손 전 원장은 성 예비후보의 ‘교권 보호’ 정책에 깊은 공감을 표했다.
