Yangju City announced that it will open Yangju Nari Farm for free for nine days, from May 9 to May 17, providing citizens with a relaxing space within the city.
This spring opening is planned under the theme of "Spring Days, Freshness and Relaxation (Green & Refresh)." Nari Farm, which received nationwide love for its spectacular celosia and pink muhly in the autumn, is set to welcome visitors this time by transforming into a green space instead of flashy scenery.
Within Nari Farm, fields of swaying green barley and yellow canola flowers have been planted, evoking the full atmosphere of spring. Visitors can walk along the wide walking paths to relieve daily stress and spend time communing with nature.
The city announced that it plans to conclude the spring opening starting in mid-May to plant celosia flowers in preparation for the autumn season, urging visitors who are considering a visit to hurry.
A city official stated, "This free opening was arranged so that citizens can recharge and feel the vibrancy of nature in a nearby location without having to travel far," adding, "We hope you visit with your family, loved ones, or friends to enjoy a relaxing break under the warm spring sunshine."
