[양주=브레이크뉴스] 김완영 기자 = 경기도 양주시(시장 강수현)는 오는 5월 9일부터 5월 17일까지 9일간 양주나리농원을 시민들에게 무료로 개장해 도심 속 휴식 공간을 제공한다고 밝혔다.
이번 봄 개장은 ‘봄날, 싱그러움과 휴식(Green & Refresh)’을 주제로 기획됐다. 가을철 화려한 천일홍과 핑크뮬리로 전국적인 사랑을 받았던 나리농원이 이번에는 화려함 대신 초록의 공간으로 변신해 관람객을 맞이할 예정이다.
나리농원 내에는 푸른 물결이 일렁이는 청보리밭과 노란 유채꽃이 식재돼 완연한 봄의 정취를 자아낸다. 관람객들은 넓게 펼쳐진 산책로를 따라 걸으며 일상의 스트레스를 해소하고 자연과 교감하는 시간을 가질 수 있다.
