【브레이크뉴스 포항】박영재 기자=선린대학교(총장직무대행 전경국) 국제교류교육센터는 지난 16일 한국어과정에 재학 중인 외국인 유학생 100여 명을 대상으로 경주월드에서 한국 테마파크 문화체험 행사를 진행했다.

이번 행사는 단순한 놀이공원 방문을 넘어 한국 젊은 층 사이에서 인기를 끌고 있는 어트랙션 체험과 스트릿푸드 문화를 직접 경험하며 역동적인 한국 여가문화를 이해할 수 있도록 마련됐다.
포근한 봄 날씨 속에서 유학생들은 또래 학생들이 즐기는 다양한 놀이기구를 체험하고 길거리 간식을 맛보며 한국 특유의 길거리 음식 문화와 테마파크 문화를 생생하게 경험했다.
특히 이날 행사에서는 파크 내에서 펼쳐진 화려한 서커스 공연이 큰 호응을 얻었다. 유학생들은 아찔한 곡예와 수준 높은 퍼포먼스가 어우러진 공연을 감상하며 뜨거운 박수를 보냈다. 놀이시설과 문화공연이 결합된 한국 테마파크의 다채로운 매력을 체감하는 시간이 됐다.
박정훈 국제교류교육센터장은 “단순한 관광을 넘어 한국의 보편적인 여가문화를 체험하고 학생들 간 정서적 유대감을 강화하는 것이 이번 행사의 핵심”이라며 “함께 웃고 즐기는 과정에서 쌓인 우정이 앞으로의 한국 생활에 든든한 힘이 되길 바란다”고 말했다.
한편 선린대학교 국제교류교육센터는 매년 우수한 외국인 유학생을 유치하고 있으며, 연 4회 운영되는 전문 한국어 교육과정과 함께 문화·진로 체험, 밀착형 상담 등 유학생들의 안정적인 한국 정착을 위한 다양한 지원 프로그램을 운영하고 있다.
