【브레이크뉴스 대구】진예솔 기자=대구 북구 서변숲도서관이 문화체육관광부가 주관하는 ‘도서관 문화예술동아리 활동 지원’ 사업에 선정됐다.
이에 따라 5월부터 10월까지 주민이 직접 참여하는 동아리 프로그램 ‘목소리공방’을 운영한다.
‘목소리공방’은 낭독과 창작 활동을 결합한 문화예술 프로젝트다.
지역 주민들이 직접 콘텐츠를 기획하고, 결과물을 만들어내는 것이 특징이다. 참여자들은 매주 수요일 정기 모임을 통해 책과 글을 낭독하는 행사를 직접 기획하고 진행한다.
퍼포먼스형 낭독 등 다양한 방식의 표현 활동도 진행할 예정이다. 특히 도서관 인근 공원에서 야외 낭독회를 열어 일상 공간에서 새로운 문화 경험을 제공한다는 계획이다.
창작 활동도 함께 펼쳐진다. 참가자들은 팝업북 제작 워크숍에 참여해 기획부터 제작, 제본까지 전 과정을 경험한다. 완성된 팝업북 작품은 도서관 2층 ‘다랑서가’에 전시된다. 도서관 측은 누구나 상시로 결과물을 감상할 수 있도록 전시 환경도 마련할 예정이다.
도서관 관계자는 “주민이 함께 만들고 나누는 과정을 통해 도서관이 생활 속 문화공간으로 자리잡길 바란다”고 말했다.
