군은 ‘군민 중심 활력 있는 혁신경제 도약’을 비전으로 한 ‘2026년 증평군 일자리대책 연차별 세부계획’을 수립·공시했다.
이번 계획은 민선 6기 일자리 종합대책(2023~2026년)과 연계한 세부계획으로, 지역 내에서 일하고 정착하는 ‘정주형 일자리’ 기반을 강화하는 데 초점을 맞췄다.
올해 목표는 고용률 72%, 취업자 수 1만7400명, 7600명 일자리 창출로, 고용률 및 취업자 수는 직전 3년간 평균 일자리 실적을 반영해 설정된 수치다.
이를 위해 국비와 지방비를 포함한 총 341억 원을 투입하고, 산업단지 조성 등 약 876억 원 규모의 민간투자도 이뤄질 계획이다.
군은 지난해 고용률 72.6%를 기록하며 민선 6기 종합계획 목표치를 조기 달성했지만, 상용근로자 감소와 타지역 출퇴근 비중 확대 등 지역 고용 구조의 한계도 확인됐다고 분석했다.
이에 따라 지역 내 산업 기반과 일자리 질을 동시에 강화하는 데 정책 역량을 집중할 방침이다.
