‘특화역량 BI 지원사업’은 창업보육센터(BI)가 보유한 전문성과 역량을 기반으로 거점형·성장형·로컬형 등 유형별 맞춤 지원을 통해 BI 경쟁력을 강화하고 입주기업 및 창업기업의 성장을 촉진하는 사업이다. 이번에 선정된 충북대 창업보육센터는 G테크벤처센터, 충북보건과학대, 국립한국교통대와 함께 4개 대학 컨소시엄을 구성해 ‘충북형 창업 컨소시엄 네트워크(CBCN)’를 구축했다.
사업은 연차평가를 거쳐 2027년까지 최대 2년간 추진되며, 센터는 올해 국비 2억 원과 청주시·충주시 지원금 4천만 원 등 총 3억여 원을 투입한다. 주관기관인 센터는 AI 기반 공동보육모델 규정 확립과 충북 창업 생태계 컨트롤타워 역할을 맡고, 컨소시엄 내 역할 분담과 공동 KPI 및 증빙체계를 통해 성과를 상시 관리하고 환류할 계획이다.
또한 ▲시장검증 기반 AI 활용 ▲MVP 스케일업 랩 ▲글로벌 판로개척 ▲투자유치 지원 ▲네트워크 구축 창업활성화 등 고부가 프로그램을 운영해 창업기업의 성장 전주기를 지원한다. 이를 통해 ‘규모의 경제’를 확보하고 지역 창업 유관기관 및 투자·전문가 풀과 연계한 공동보육 모델 구축을 본격화한다.
특히 충북지방중소벤처기업청과 청주시·충주시, 지역 창업기관과 협력해 원스톱 지원체계를 구축하고, ‘창업지원 유관기관 협의체’를 정례 운영해 거버넌스 기반 협업을 강화할 방침이다. 이를 통해 정책 적합성과 현장성을 높이고 후속사업 연계도 확대한다.
충북대 창업보육센터는 이번 사업을 계기로 단순 공간 지원을 넘어 제도·자원·콘텐츠·성과를 공유하는 공동보육 체계를 구축하고, 기술 연계와 투자 유치를 결합한 맞춤형 지원을 확대할 계획이다. 이를 위해 교수진과 외부 전문가가 참여하는 특화 프로그램과 패키지형 세부 프로그램을 단계별로 운영해 창업기업의 사업화를 체계적으로 지원한다.
김태경 창업보육센터장은 “AI 기반 공동보육모델 확립과 충북형 정주 창업 생태계 조성을 위해 컨소시엄 대학의 인프라와 투자 역량을 결집하겠다”며 “지역 창업 네트워크 강화와 창업문화 확산을 통해 거점형 프로그램을 브랜드화하고 지역 경제 활성화에 기여하겠다”고 말했다.
