조사 대상은 도로명판 3,422개, 건물번호판 1만8,098개, 기초번호판 1,137개를 비롯해 국가지점번호판 87개, 주소정보안내판 9개, 사물주소판 696개 등 총 2만3,449개이며, 결과에 따라 교체·보수·철거 등 필요한 조치를 순차적으로 추진할 예정이다.
