[브레이크뉴스=이성용기자] 창원시는 14일 오후 2시 창원컨벤션센터에서 스타트업의 글로벌 시장개척 사례 공유와 비즈니스 역량강화를 위해 ‘CES2022 창원시 성과 교류회’를 개최했다.
지난 1월5일부터 7일까지 3일간 미국 라스베이거스에서 개최된 세계 최대 가전박람회인 CES 2022에 참가한 창원시 관내 13개 스타트업을 포함해 창업기업 대표 및 관계자들이 참석했다. 교류회는 2022년도 CES 주요 성과와 기업들의 CES 참가 소감을 공유하는 행사로 진행됐다.
또한 2015년부터 CES에서 주요 이슈들과 스페셜 컨퍼러스를 개최해오고 있는 AVING(에이빙 뉴스)의 김기대 편집인 겸 발행인이 1시간 동안 기업들에게 CES 2022의 주요 동향 및 트렌드에 대한 영상 특강을 실시해, 마치 현장에 있는 것과 같은 생생한 후기를 들려주는 시간도 가졌다.

㈜제이엔이웍스 홍의석 대표는 “CES2022 참가로 미국 의료기술장비 납품 전문회사 FSN과 200만달러 규모의 미국시장 공동 진출 추진 MOU체결하는 성과를 이뤘다”며 “앞으로 CES 참여에 더 많은 벤처?스타트업 기업이 참가할 수 있도록 창원시의 아낌없는 지원이 이어지길 바란다”고 말했다.
허성무 시장은 “2019년도부터 관내 총 24개 기업이 CES에 참가를 했고, 참가 이후 사업 성과와 더불어 고용 창출까지 이어지고 있다”며 “벤처?스타트업 활성화를 위해 유럽과 아시아 국제 전시회까지 그 영역을 확장해 나갈 수 있도록 기술창업 생태계 구축에 더욱 노력을 기울이겠다”고 밝혔다.
