파주시는 12일, 13일 이틀간 파주시 사회적경제·마을공동체 지원센터에서 파주시 및 산하기관 회계담당자 55명을 대상으로 공공기관 사회적경제 제품 우선구매 교육을 했다고 밝혔다.
이번 교육은 공공기관의 사회적경제 제품 구매 활성화를 위해 마련되었으며, ▲사회적경제의 이해 ▲공공구매의 필요성 ▲관내 사회적경제 제품 및 서비스 소개 등으로 이루어졌다.

김은희 도시재생과장은 “이번 교육이 직원들의 사회적경제에 대한 이해도를 높이고 사회적경제 제품의 구매력을 향상시키는 계기가 될 것으로 기대한다”라며, “앞으로 파주시는 사회적경제기업의 판로 지원을 통한 사회적경제 활성화를 위해 적극 노력하겠다”고 말했다.
한편, 파주시는 지난해 136억원의 사회적경제 제품을 우선구매 하였으며 우선구매 공공기관의 범위를 산하기관까지 확대는 물론 올해 3월에는 민간부분 구매촉진을 위해 파주상공회의소-파주시공유경제네트워크와 사회적경제 활성화를 위한 상생협약을 맺기도 했다. 파주=박정호 기자
