[브레이크뉴스=주윤한 기자] 거창군은 악성 가축전염병 예방과 확산 방지 및 청정지역 사수를 위한 2023년 가축방역분야 주요사업을 본격적으로 추진한다고 7일 밝혔다.
군은 가축방역분야 39개 주요사업에 약 47억여 원의 예산을 투입할 예정이며, 각종 가축방역약품·소독약품 구입, 브루셀라 검진, 구제역 예방백신 접종, 축산물 위생 사업 등을 지원해 재난형 가축전염병을 사전에 예방하고 대응 체계를 구축할 계획이다.
앞서 군은 최근 연이어 발생하고 있는 고병원성 AI·아프리카돼지열병 차단을 위해 24시간 축산종합방역소(거점소독시설), 도경계 통제초소 2개소, 종오리 농장초소 5개소를 운영하고 있으며, 또한 상대적으로 방역취약지대에 있는 소규모 농가에 대해 축협 공동방제단 8개 반이 주기적으로 소독을 지원하고 있다.
김규태 농업축산과장은 “재난형 가축전염병의 사전 예방과 대응을 위해서는 일차적으로 축산농가의 높은 수준의 자발적 방역의식이 가장 중요하며, 이와 더불어 정부와 지자체의 지원으로 더욱 강화된 방역 체계를 구축할 수 있다”고 말했다.
