유순재 대전조달청장은 13일 충남 공주시에 위치한 레미콘 제조업체인 고려산업케이알를 방문해 생산 현장을 살펴보고 의견을 듣는 등 소통활동을 펼쳤다고 밝혔다.

유 청장의 이날 방문은 봄철 성수기 레미콘 수요 증가와 시멘트 공급부족에 따른 레미콘 생산 및 납품에 차질이 발생하고 있는 레미콘 생산현장의 현황을 파악하고 생산공정 등을 확인하기 위해 마련됐다.

이 자리에서 업체 관계자는 “레미콘 원자재, 운반비 상승에 이어 시멘트 공급 대란까지 겹쳐 레미콘 생산이 주문 대비 50%밖에 미치지 못하고 있다”며 어려움을 호소했다.

유순재 청장은 “물가변동으로 인한 계약변경의 신속한 처리 등을 통해 곤란에 처한 업계를 지원하기 위해 최선을 다할 것”이라며 "국책사업 현장에 레미콘 공급이 최우선적으로 이루어지도록 노력하겠다"고 말했다.
