[브레이크뉴스=주윤한 기자] 거창군은 체험휴양마을인 가조면 기리창조적마을과 북상면 빙기실마을이 ‘워케이션’ 대상지로 선정됐다고 8일 밝혔다.

일과 휴가의 합성어인 워케이션은 일정 기간 일을 하면서 휴식을 취하고 새로운 환경에서 에너지를 충전하는 것으로 원하는 곳에서 일과 휴가를 동시에 즐길 수 있는 새로운 근무 제도이다.

경남도내 10개소 중 거창군에서는 기리창조적마을과 빙기실마을이 선정돼 워케이션 근무에 적합하도록 기존 시설을 리모델링하는 등 체험휴양마을을 새롭게 조성할 계획이다.

가조면 기리창조적마을은 인근 거창 항노화힐링랜드와 가조온천지구가 있는 치유와 힐링을 위한 공간으로 조성된 웰빙마을로 즐겁게 놀며 일하기에 최적화된 곳이다.

북상면 빙기실마을은 지난해 말 전국 농촌관광마을 평가에서 1등급인 ‘으뜸촌’으로 선정됐으며 덕유산 자락에 자리해 산과 강이 어우러진 곳으로 아름다운 경관을 보며 일할 수 있다.
