브레이크뉴스 정명훈 기자= 우크라이나가 러시아 수도 모스크바를 향한 드론 공격을 지속적으로 감행하고 있다. 이 때문에 모스크바에 있는 공항들은 일시적으로 폐쇄되기도 했다.
러시아 타스통신이 23일(현지시간) 보도한 바에 따르면 세르게이 소뱌닌 모스크바 시장은 이날 SNS를 통해 "새벽에 군이 모스크바 서편 상공에서 드론 2기를 격추했다. 격추된 드론은 건설 중이던 건물과 충돌했다고 전했다.
오전 3시경 추락한 드론이 건물과 부딪히며 큰 폭발음이 들렸고, 연기가 피어오르는 모습도 포착된 것으로 전해졌다. 드론이 추락한 지점에서 크렘린궁까지는 불과 5km가량 떨어져 있었다.
이와 관련 러시아 국방부는 브리핑을 통해 "방공군은 밤 중에 우크라이나가 무인 항공기 3대를 이용한 테러 시도를 저지했다"면서 "전자전에 의해 무력화된 드론이 통제력을 잃고 건물과 충돌했다"고 밝혔다.
이어 "모크스바주 일대에서도 드론 2대가 방공 체계에 의해 파괴됐다"고 설명했다.
한편 최근 우크라이나의 거듭된 드론 공격 등으로 인해 모스크바에 있는 주요 공항들은 임시 폐쇄됐다가 운항을 재개하길 반복했다.
전날에도 드론 공격으로 인해 브누코보 공항(VKO), 셰레메티예보 공항(SVO), 도모데도보 공항(DME)이 일시적으로 폐쇄돼 항공기 90여편이 운항 차질을 빚기도 했다.
