【브레이크뉴스 】박영재 기자=한국산업인력공단 경북동부지사(지사장 김성우)는 오는 20일부터 23일까지 4일간 ‘2026년 제2회 기사 필기시험’ 응시원서 접수를 실시한다고 밝혔다.

[Break News] Reporter Park Young-jae = The Gyeongbuk East Branch of the Korea Human Resources Development Service (Director Kim Seong-woo) announced that it will accept applications for the ‘2026 2nd Engineer Written Examination’ for four days, from the 20th to the 23rd.
This exam covers a total of 133 subjects, including 79 Engineer and Service subjects (including Gas Engineer) and 54 Industrial Engineer subjects. The exam is scheduled to take place from May 9 to May 29 at nine test centers located in Pohang and Gyeongju. The status of test centers by subject can be checked on the Q-net website when applying.
Applications can only be submitted online via the Q-net website, and the application period is from 11:00 AM on April 20 to 6:00 PM on April 23.
The submission of eligibility documents required for the practical exam for those who passed the written exam will take place from May 11 to June 19, and online and continuous submission are also possible.
An official from the Corporation stated that the number of applicants for this year's 2nd Engineer written exam in jurisdictional areas, including Pohang and Gyeongju, is expected to reach approximately 10,000.
Meanwhile, the Corporation is implementing the "Youth National Technical Qualification Exam Fee Support Program" to alleviate the burden of job-seeking activities and career development for young people. Under this program, young people aged 34 or younger (born after January 1, 1991) can receive a 50% subsidy on national technical qualification exam application fees up to three times a year.
