한중도시우호협회는 12월1일자 보도자료에서 “권기식 회장은 1일 오전 차이나텔레콤(中國電信) 방한단(단장 자옌ㆍ賈炎 부총경리)과 함께 수원 삼성전자 삼성이노베이션뮤지엄(SIM)을 방문했다”고 알렸다.

권기식 회장은 이날 오후 방문단과 함께 서울 중구 을지로 소재 SK텔레콤 본사를 방문해 홍보관을 참관하기도 했다.
차이나텔레콤은 중국의 국영통신회사로 이번 방한단은 본사와 각 성급 지사장 등 경영진 20명으로 구성됐으며, 일본을 거쳐 한국을 방문했다.
