브레이크뉴스 정민우 기자= LG유플러스는 출산 가구의 가계통신비 부담을 줄이기 위해 육아 가구에 매월 데이터 5GB를 추가 제공한다고 14일 밝혔다.
자녀의 나이가 24개월 미만이고 LG유플러스 U+모바일(LTE/5G) 요금제를 이용하는 고객이라면 데이터 5GB 혜택을 신청할 수 있다.
기존에 사용하고 있던 요금제의 데이터 제공량에 더해, 신청할 달부터 서류상 자녀의 생일이 24개월이 되는 달의 말일까지 매월 5GB가 추가로 제공된다. 해당 연령의 자녀 1명당 부모 1명이 혜택을 받을 수 있다.
데이터 5GB를 추가로 이용하기 위해서는 매장을 방문하거나 고객센터, 홈페이지 1대1 문의를 통해 가족관계증명서 또는 주민등록등본으로 부모임을 증빙하면 된다. 친부모가 아니더라도 미성년자의 후견인을 증빙하면 법정대리인도 동일하게 가입할 수 있다.
LG유플러스는 이번 육아 지원 데이터 5GB 혜택을 통해 육아 가구를 도와 경제적 부담을 줄이고, 나아가 아이를 키우기 좋은 환경을 만들어가는데 기여할 것으로 기대하고 있다.
