(광주=브레이크뉴스) 이학수 기자=광주시 서구가 주민 화합과 지역사회 발전에 헌신한 공로자를 발굴해 ‘제32회 서구민상’ 수상자 3명을 최종 선정했다고 밝혔다.
1994년 제정되어 올해로 32회째를 맞이한 서구민상은 명실상부 서구 최고의 권위를 자랑하는 상이다. 올해는 엄격한 심사를 거쳐 ▲사회·봉사 부문 최무진(58) ▲교육·문예·체육 부문 정찬용(62) ▲지역·경제 부문 김성숙(73) 씨가 수상의 영예를 안았다.
㈜나눔테크 대표인 최무진 씨는 기업의 사회적 책임을 몸소 실천해 온 인물이다. 아동과 노인 등 취약계층을 위한 맞춤형 지원에 앞장섰을 뿐만 아니라, 서구 아너스클럽 회원으로서 1억 원 후원을 약정하는 등 지속적인 기부 활동을 통해 지역 복지 사각지대 해소에 기여한 공을 높이 평가받았다.
