브레이크뉴스 문홍철 기자= 신용보증기금은 내년 1월 9일부터 12일까지 미국 라스베가스에서 열리는 소비자 가전 전시회 ‘CES 2024’에 참가할 혁신 스타트업 3개사의 글로벌 진출을 지원한다고 14일 밝혔다.
신보는 지난 5월 글로벌 스타트업 육성을 위한 ‘스타트업 해외진출 지원방안’을 수립해 △해외진출 스타트업 자금지원 강화 △해외투자 유치 지원 △Global 액셀러레이팅 △해외 사업 인프라 지원 △해외전시회 참여 지원 등 세부 과제를 도출해 추진 중이다.
신보는 중소기업의 해외 전시회 참여 지원을 위해 혁신아이콘, 퍼스트펭귄 등 보증·투자지원 기업 중 참가요건을 충족한 3개 혁신스타트업을 ‘CES 2024’ 참가기업으로 선정하고, 지난 달 열린 ‘CES 2024 언박싱데이’를 통해 대외협력기관, VC 등 유관기관에 공개했다.
선발된 3개사는 △(주)니어스랩(비전 AI 기반 자율 비행 드론 솔루션) △(주)도구공간(자율 주행 로봇 기반 스마트 순찰 서비스) △(주)반프(상용차 타이어 실시간 프로파일 시스템)이다.
특히, 퍼스트펭귄기업 ㈜반프는 차세대 스마트 타이어 기술 ‘BANF iSensor’를 출품해 ‘CES 2024’를 주관하는 미국소비자기술협회로부터 첨단모빌리티 부문 혁신상을 수상하는 쾌거를 이뤘다.
신보는 이들 기업과 함께 ‘CES 2024’ 유레카파크 통합한국관에 참가해 홍보부스 설치, 물류비 등 참가비용을 지원하고, KOTRA와 협업해 해외 바이어 현지상담 및 IR 피칭 지원 등 글로벌 시장 진출을 위한 현장 밀착지원도 나선다는 계획이다.
신보 관계자는 “신보의 CES 2024 참가 지원을 발판으로 무한한 가능성을 가진 스타트업들이 더 넓은 시장으로 뻗어 나가 스케일업 할 수 있도록 적극 지원하겠다”고 말했다.
