브레이크뉴스 정민우 기자= 중소기업 10곳 중 9곳이 상생형(삼성) 스마트공장 지원에 만족하는 것으로 조사됐다.
중소기업중앙회는 중소벤처기업부, 삼성(삼성전자·삼성전기·삼성SDI)과 함께 추진한 2022년 ‘대·중소 상생형(삼성) 스마트공장 지원사업’ 참여기업 209개사를 대상으로 실시한 의견조사 결과를 18일 발표했다.
조사결과, 중소기업의 92.3%가 상생형(삼성) 스마트공장 지원사업에 ‘만족’(매우 만족 48.6%+만족 43.8%)하고 있으며, 5년 연속 만족도가 상승한 것으로 나타났다.
지원사업에 만족하는 이유로는 △맞춤형 시스템/자동화 구축(46.8%) △제조현장 혁신(30.1%) △삼성 멘토의 밀착 지원(19.9%) 등이었다.
상생형(삼성) 스마트공장 지원사업에서는 삼성의 200명 전담 멘토가 차별화된 ‘현장혁신 활동’을 무상으로 지원하고 있는데, ‘현장혁신 활동’ 만족도도 91.8%로 4년 연속 상승한 것으로 조사됐다.
지원사업을 통해 구축한 스마트공장 솔루션(MES(생산관리), ERP(기업자원관리), SCM(공급망관리), 간이생산시스템 및 간이자동화)에 대한 만족도(85%)와 조직구성원들의 활용도(72.9%)도 높은 수준인 것으로 나타났다.
스마트공장 솔루션에 만족하는 이유로는 △생산현장에 적용효과 높음(41.4%) △생산현장 모니터링 수월(27.2%) △근로자의 근무환경 개선(16.6%) 순이었다.
상생형(삼성) 스마트공장 지원사업 참여기업의 15.6%는 매출이 평균 31억9000만원 증가했고, 참여기업의 14.4%는 고용인력이 평균 8.8명 증가한 것으로 집계됐다. 사업 참여기업은 △생산성증가 △수주확대 △원가절감 △스마트공장 전문인력 신규 충원에 따라 매출과 고용인력이 증가한 것으로 나타났다.
특히, 스마트공장 구축이 고용인력을 감소시킨다는 일각의 우려와 달리 고용인력이 감소했다고 응답한 기업은 4.8%에 불과했다.
중소기업의 제조경쟁력 확보를 위해 스마트공장이 필요하다는 응답은 96.2%에 달했다. 특히, 중소기업의 95.2%가 정부와 대기업이 협력해 중소기업의 스마트공장 구축을 지원하는 상생형 스마트공장 구축 지원사업이 지속적으로 확대돼야 한다고 응답했다.
상생형 스마트공장 구축 지원사업의 확대를 위해 필요한 정책적 지원으로는 △지자체 지원금 확대(57.9%) △‘기초’ 수준에 대한 지원 확대(24.7%) △대기업·공공기관 참여 유도(13.2%) △ESG 지원 확대(4.2%) 등이었다.
양찬회 중기중앙회 혁신성장본부장은 “상생형 삼성 스마트공장 지원사업은 중소기업의 만족도와 성과가 높은 대표적인 모범 지원사례로 중소기업 제조경쟁력 강화와 혁신성장의 디딤돌 역할을 해왔다”며 “스마트공장은 기초부터 고도화 수준까지 단계적이고 체계적인 지원이 필수적으로 특히 기초 수준은 제조혁신의 마중물 역할로써 중소기업 현장에서도 기초 수준 지원에 대한 수요가 높은 만큼 정부의 지속적인 지원과 관심이 필요하다”고 말했다.
