브레이크뉴스 정민우 기자= KT는 경기도 안산 원곡동의 다문화 거리에 통신을 포함해 외국인 특화 서비스를 제공하는 ‘KT Foreigner Center’를 오픈했다고 26일 밝혔다.
약 165㎡(약 50평)에 달하는 대형 매장이며 영업시간은 매주 월~일요일, 오전 10시 30분부터 오후 7시3 0분까지다.
KT Foreigner Center는 중국어, 러시아어, 필리핀어, 캄보디아어, 인도네시아어, 네팔어, 베트남어, 미얀마어 등 8개 국어가 가능한 응대 직원을 채용해, 모국어로 편리하게 통신 상품 상담이 가능하다.
KT Foreigner Center는 한국에 머무는 외국인 고객이 필요로 하는 ‘Total Services’ 제공을 목표로 △다국적 상담사가 제공하는 8개 국어 상담 △외국인 대상 항공권 발권 서비스 △결제/환전/교통 통합 선불카드 ‘WOWPASS’ 발급 및 무인환전이 가능한 키오스크 △외국인 고객 선호도 높은 다양한 체험 폰 공간 △액정, 베터리, 각종 부품 교체 등이 가능한 AS센터를 준비했다.
매장디자인 또한 새롭게 구성했다. 전세계 여행객이 모이는 공항 컨셉으로 다양한 나라에서 방문한 외국인 고객이 친근감을 느낄 수 있는 자국 언어를 포함한 인테리어 디자인을 적용해 기존 매장과 차별화했다. 매장 전면에 당일 상담 가능한 언어를 표시해 고객 편의성을 높였다.
