제9대 유성구의회가 출범한 지도 벌써 2년이 다 되어가고 있습니다.
돌아보면 유성구의회는 어려운 지역경제를 살리기 위해 골목상권과 소상공인을 위한 지원을 강화하고, 지역의 미래를 이끌어갈 아이들과 청소년들이 마음껏 꿈을 펼칠 수 있는 환경조성과 어르신들의 건강하고 행복한 삶을 위해 최선을 다해왔습니다.
또한 정책토론회 및 간담회, 선진지 벤치마킹, 의원연구단체 활동을 통해 소통하고 연구하는 의회상을 구현하였고 4번의 정례회와 7번의 임시회 기간 동안 총 282건의 안건을 처리하는 등 어느 때보다 열정적으로 의정활동을 펼쳐왔습니다.
앞으로 유성구의회는 지역의 오랜 숙원사업인 유성복합터미널 건립을 비롯해 현충원 IC 건립, 장대도시첨단산업단지?안산첨단국방산업단지?나노반도체국가산업단지 조성 등 지역발전을 견인할 대형사업들이 차질 없이 추진될 수 있도록 노력하고 유성온천문화체험관 건립 등 온천을 활용한 지속 가능한 관광생태계를 구축할 수 있도록 최선을 다해 지원하겠습니다.
