[양주 브레이크뉴스] 김태영 기자 = 양주시는 국가유산청의 지원을 받아 ‘제43회 양주소놀이굿 정기공개행사’를 오는 26일 오후 1시, 양주소놀이굿 전수교육관 공연장에서 개최한다고 밝혔다.

올해로 43회를 맞는 이번 행사는 ‘전통문화의 향기’를 주제로, 양주 대표 무형유산인 양주소놀이굿의 전통성과 예술성을 시민과 함께 나누기 위해 마련됐다.

행사에서는 민요메들리·양주소놀이굿 원형공연·설장구·작두굿·길가르기(故 김봉순 보유자 추모) ·진도북춤·강릉농악(초청공연) 등 다채로운 프로그램이 펼쳐져 관람객들에게 전통연희의 진수를 선보일 예정이다.

이번 행사에서는 전통문화 체험 프로그램도 함께 운영된다. 관람객들은 팝업북 만들기·장구 만들기·해금 만들기·의상 체험 등 다양한 무료 체험을 통해 전통문화를 직접 보고 느끼는 기회를 가질 수 있다.

양주소놀이굿은 오랜 세월에 걸쳐 전승되어 온 국가무형유산으로, 가족의 평안과 농사의 풍요를 기원하는 전통 굿이며, 그 뿌리는 소와 말, 하늘에 제를 올리는 고대의 ‘소멕놀이’에서 비롯됐다. 또한 무속의 제석거리와 마마배송굿 등이 결합된 독특한 연희적 특성을 갖춘 무형유산이다.

양주시 관계자는 “이번 행사는 국가유산청의 지원을 통해 무형유산의 가치를 널리 알리고, 시민들이 전통문화를 보다 친숙하게 접할 수 있도록 기획됐다”며 “앞으로도 지역 무형유산의 지속적인 전승과 활성화를 위해 노력하겠다”고 말했다.
