경주페이 인센티브 혜택이 지속적으로 유지되는 만큼, 소비력 역외 방지, 고금리 및 고물가 인해 힘든 지역상권 활성화에 큰 도움이 될 전망이다.
이와 더불어 지난해 12월부터 시민들의 자발적인 기부문화 확산을 위해 경주페이 모바일 기부 서비스인 ‘HAPPY동행’을 시행하고 있다.
향후 시는 경주페이에 건강걷기 마일리지, 정책발행금 등 각종 지원금과 다양한 시책을 담아 경주페이 활용도를 대폭 개선할 예정이다.
