[브레이크뉴스=양영석 기자] 김해시는 올해 평생학습도시 지정 20주년을 맞아 ‘2024년 김해시 평생교육진흥 시행계획’을 수립 추진한다고 15일 밝혔다.

시는 2005년 평생학습도시 지정 후 지난 20년간 ‘김해시 평생교육진흥 조례’ 제정을 시작으로 평생학습 전담 인력을 배치해 김해평생교육특구 지정, 김해평생학습＆과학축제 개최, 김해시 평생교육 컨트롤타워인 생활문화평생학습관 설립 등 평생학습 활성화를 위한 다양한 성과를 창출하고 있다.

2024년 김해시 평생교육진흥 시행계획은 4대 추진 전략과 16개 세부사업에 8억5000만원의 예산이 투입될 예정이다.

시행계획은 시민 맞춤형 평생학습 프로그램 운영 평생학습 컨트롤타워 생활문화평생학습관 운영 평생학습 저변 확대 및 활성화 사업 지원 평생학습 문화 확산 및 기반 강화 4대 전략을 골자로 한다.

16개 세부사업 중 주요 사업은 평생학습 정책 비전 마련을 위한 ‘5개년 평생학습도시 중장기 종합계획’ 수립 생활문화평생학습관의 신중년 대상 특화사업인 ‘청바지학교’ 운영 평생학습 SNS 서포터즈 운영 평생학습＆과학축제개최 시민평생교육 활성화를 위한 지원사업 추진 등이다.
