KB국민은행은 전자서명법 개정 전 발빠른 행보로 KB국민인증서를 출시해 행정안전부 간편인증 시범사업자로 선정됐다. 외부 사용처 확장을 위한 3가지 정부 라이선스(전자서명인증사업자·본인확인기관·공인전자문서중계자)를 모두 획득해 보안성과 안전성을 인정받았다.
KB국민인증서는 스마트폰에서 바로 발급 가능하며 홈택스 간편로그인도 지원하고 있어 인증서 발급과 재발급을 위해 혼잡한 영업점 창구를 방문하지 않아도 된다. 현재까지 국세청 홈택스, 정부24, 청약홈, 한국전력공사 등 500여개 공공·민간기관에 간편인증 서비스를 제공하고 있다.
KB국민은행을 처음 거래하는 고객도 본인명의 스마트기기와 신분증만 있으면 영업점 방문없이 발급할 수 있도록 이용 편의성도 갖췄다. 또한, 복잡한 암호없이 패턴·지문·Face ID 로 간편하게 로그인 할 수 있으며, OTP나 보안카드 없이 6자리 간편비밀번호로 금융거래가 가능하다.
KB국민은행 관계자는 “KB국민인증서는 이미 제공 중인 소득금액증명원, 주민등록표등본, 국민연금가입내역확인서 등 전자증명서 발급처럼 일상 속 인증이 필요한 모든 서비스를 담고 있다”며 “공공·민간기관 등 사용처를 더욱 확장해 고객 편의를 높일 수 있도록 하겠다”고 말했다.
