브레이크뉴스 문홍철 기자= KB국민은행은 지난 1일 국토교통부 및 주택도시보증공사와 전세사기 피해 구제 및 예방을 위한‘KB 전세안심 프로그램’을 시행했다고 5일 밝혔다.
이번에 시행하는 ‘KB 전세안심 프로그램’은 KB국민은행이 지난해 12월 국토교통부 및 주택도시보증공사와 체결한 ‘전세사기 피해자 지원 및 피해 예방 업무협약’의 후속 조치로, 전세사기 피해자에 대한 실질적인 지원과 상생금융 확산을 위해 마련됐다.
‘KB 전세안심 프로그램’은 ‘피해 구제 프로그램’과 ‘피해 예방 프로그램’으로 구성됐다. ‘피해 구제 프로그램’의 경우 KB국민은행의 기부금을 활용해 전세보증금반환소송 등 집행권원 확보 비용 및 경·공매 대행 수수료의 본인 부담분을 지원한다.
HUG 안심전세포털에서 지원내용 확인과 신청이 가능하며, △경·공매지원센터 △전세피해지원센터 △주택도시보증공사(HUG) 영업점에서도 신청할 수 있다.
또한, KB국민은행은 피해자에 대한 전문적인 금융 상담을 위해 서울, 경기, 인천, 부산, 대전, 대구 등 총 6개 지역에서 전세사기 피해 전담 영업점을 운영한다.
아울러 현재 시행 중인 전세사기 피해자 신규 주택자금대출 이자율 2%p 감면과 전세자금대출 연체 이자 면제 및 연체 정보 등록 유예도 지속한다.
‘피해 예방 프로그램’으로 인기 작가 ‘키크니’의 웹툰을 활용한 피해 예방 캠페인을 진행 중이다. 지난달 23일 ‘키크니’ 인스타그램 계정 내 ‘전세사기 피해 예방 캠페인, 키크니가 피해 방지를 위해 그립니다!’라는 내용의 게시물을 등재했으며, 오는 13일까지 전세사기 피해 사연을 공모한다.
공모된 실제 피해 사연을 바탕으로 제작한 웹툰을 활용해 전세사기에 특히 취약한 청년층을 대상으로 피해 사례를 공유하고 피해 예방법도 소개할 예정이다.
이 외에도 KB금융공익재단과 연계해 사회초년생에게 전세사기 피해 예방 교육을 운영하고, 영상 및 리플릿 등 다양한 콘텐츠를 만들어 전세사기 피해 예방 정보를 전국적으로 홍보할 계획이다.
KB국민은행 관계자는 “전세사기로 어려움을 겪고 있는 피해자 분들에게 주거 안정을 신속히 지원하고자 이번 프로그램을 마련했다”며 “앞으로도 우리 사회 취약계층과 소외 이웃을 위한 나눔과 상생금융을 지속 실천해 나가겠다”고 말했다.
