(사)한국방송비평학회(회장 이순모)는 2월28일 보도자료에서 “(사)한국방송비평학회는 2월 28일 오후 2시30분~6시까지 서강대 가브리엘관에서「2023 방송 비평상 시상식」을 개최했다. 2006년 제1회 시상식 이후, 16번 째 개최되는 이번 시상식에서 드라마1, 드라마2, 시사교양, 다큐멘터리, 예능, 라디오, 소셜미디어 등 총 7개 부문의 프로그램을 선정, 시상했다”고 밝혔다. 아래는 각 부문별 수상작이다.

유홍식 한국방송비평상 심사위원장(중앙대학교 커뮤니케이션대학원장)은 심사평에서 “국내 방송미디어 시장이 저가 유료방송구조에서 탈피하여 충분한 제작비를 국내 시장에서 확보할 수 있고, 세계 미디어시장에서 추가 수익과 재원을 확보할 수 있는 자생력을 확보하길 기대”한다고 피력했다.
(사)한국방송비평학회 이순모 회장은 인사말에서 “과연 무한 확장하고 있는 미디어콘텐츠 시장에서 진정한 차이에 대한 인식을 갖고 있는 크리에이티브한 콘텐츠는 무엇인가?”라고 반문하면서 “비평적 관점에서의 방송콘텐츠에 대한 접근법은 보다 정교해야 할 뿐만 아니라 사회문화적 영향력을 염두에 두지 않을 수 없기 때문에 수상작을 결정할 때 고민이 많다”고 강조했다.
