5일 기업분석연구소 리더스인덱스에 따르면 매출 자산순위 상위 30대 그룹의 237개 계열사 중 지난 4일까지 주주총회 소집을 결의한 71개 기업의 신규 사외이사 이력을 분석한 결과, 신규 추천 사외이사 103명 중 41명(41.1%)이 전직 고위 관료 출신이었다. 지난해 3분기 30대 그룹의 관료 출신 사외이사 비중인 24.3%보다 16.8%p 증가했다.
특히, 관료 출신 신규 사외이사들의 52%가 임기가 만료된 관료 출신 사외이사들의 자리로 교체됐고, 추가된 사외이사 자리의 절반 이상도 관료 출신들로 채워진 것으로 확인됐다.
관료 출신 사외이사들 중 가장 많은 비중을 차지한 기관은 검찰청으로, 43명 중 8명(19.5%)으로 나타났다.
