브레이크뉴스 문홍철 기자= DL건설이 전 현장을 대상으로 품질관리 강화 캠페인인 ‘하이 퀄리티 페스티벌(High Quality Festival)’을 전개하고 있다.
이번 캠페인은 현장 중심의 실질적 자체 품질점검을 통해 미흡한 부분을 가감 없이 드러내고, 이를 궁극적으로 개선하기 위해 마련됐다. 매년 진행하던 품질 캠페인을 개선해 시행, 형식적 자가점검을 탈피하는 동시에 높은 수준의 품질을 구현한다는 계획이다.
이를 위해 현장에서의 자율적 품질활동을 전개하는 동시에, 본사 임원 및 팀장들의 참여를 병행해 현장-본사 간 전반적 품질관리 수준을 높인다는 방침이다.
또한, 전사 ‘품질의 날’ 행사를 통해 품질에 대한 목표의식을 강화시킬 방침이다. 행사는 각 현장별로 진행되며 △안전조회 △근로자 의식 고취 교육 △현장점검 △품질활동 회의(교육) 및 점검사항 공유 △조치사항 이행 △결과 보고 순으로 기획됐다.
DL건설은 다음달까지 파일럿 형태로 운영한 뒤 도출된 문제점을 개선, 오는 5월부터 실효성 있는 품질활동으로 강화·전개한다는 계획이다.
아울러 DL건설은 품질관리 강화를 위해 올 초 조직개편으로 ‘품질관리실’이라는 전담 조직을 신설한 바 있다. 해당 조직은 △품질환경팀 △품질PS팀 △건축설계팀 △고객만족팀 등 4개 부서로 구성됐다.
DL건설은 이번 캠페인 전개 및 조직개편 등을 통해 품질경영에 위협이 될 수 있는 리스크를 찾아 예방하고, 전사적 목표인 ‘하자Zero’를 달성하기 위해 노력할 예정이다. 뿐만 아니라 국내 18개 주요 건설사가 참여 중인 ‘한국건설품질협의회’ 등 대외 품질활동에도 적극 참여한다는 방침이다.
DL건설 관계자는 “품질관리 개선을 위한 전사적 노력이 모여 지난해 하반기말 품질 관련 ‘부실벌점 제로(Zero)’를 달성하는 등 성과 또한 함께 창출하고 있다”며 “앞으로도 지속적 품질관리 활동을 강화할 것이다”고 말했다.
