경기도가 도내 개발제한구역을 관리하고 있는 21개 시·군을 대상으로 개발제한구역 관리실태를 평가하고 의왕시 등 12개 우수 시·군을 선정했다.
지난해 시·군들의 개발제한구역 불법행위 사전 예방(단속계획, 우수시책, 관리인력 활용 등)과 사후관리(통계관리, 행정조치, 원상복구 등) 2개 분야를 평가했다. 평가 결과 △대상 의왕시 △최우수상 구리시, 수원시 △우수상 안산시, 광주시, 화성시, 성남시 △장려상 고양시, 부천시, 하남시, 광명시, 안양시 등 12곳을 선정했다.
