【브레이크뉴스 경주】박희경 기자=경주시의회(의장 이철우)는 15일 개회를 시작으로 9일간의 제281회 경주시의회 임시회를 진행한다고 밝혔다.

이날 제1차 본회의의 시작으로 김동해 의원은 ‘신경주역세권 지역개발사업에 대한 적극행정 촉구’에 대해 5분 자유발언의 시간을 가졌다.
이어진 본회의에서는 ‘제281회 임시회 회기결정의 건’, ‘경주시 민간위탁심의위원회 위원 추천의 건’, ‘회의록 서명의원 선임의 건’ 등을 상정했다.
16일부터 22일까지의 휴회기간동안 각 상임위원회에서는 조례안 및 일반안건 및 ‘2024년도 행정사무감사 계획서 작성의 건’ 등에 대한 심사를 진행하게 된다.
마지막 날인 23일 제2차 본회의에서는 각 상임위원회에서 심사한 조례안 및 일반안건을 비롯하여 ‘2024년도 행정사무감사 계획서 승인의 건’ 등에 대하여 심의 후 최종 의결할 예정이다.
이번 임시회에는 이경희 의원이 대표 발의한 ‘경주시 지방보조금 관리 조례 일부개정조례안’, 최영기 의원이 대표 발의한 ‘경주시 종합장사공원 경주하늘마루 설치 및 운영 조례 일부개정조례안’, 이진락 의원이 대표 발의한 ‘경주시 작은도서관 설치 및 운영지원에 관한 조례 일부개정조례안’, 정종문 의원이 대표 발의한 ‘경주시 지역농산물 이용촉진 및 농산물 직거래 활성화에 관한 조례안’ 등 4건을 비롯해 총 14건의 조례안이 상정됐다.
또한 ‘경주시 명예시민증 수여 동의안’ 등 4건의 동의안과 ‘경주시 도시관리계획(공원) 결정(변경)안에 대한 의견청취안’ 등 2건의 의견청취안, ‘스마트팜 ICT 융복합확산사업(온실신축) 공모사업 신청 보고’등 7건의 보고 및 ‘2024년도 제2차 공유재산 관리계획 변경안’에 대해서도 심사한다.
이철우 의장은 개회사에서 “오는 6월에 2025 APEC 정상회의 개최도시가 경주로 결정될 수 있도록 집행부와 협력하여 최선을 다하겠다.”고 다짐하며, “제281회 임시회에서 다룰 조례안 등의 안건 심사와 더불어 효율적 행정사무감사 계획서 작성을 위하여 의회과 집행부의 적극적인 상호 협조를 당부드린다.”고 주문했다.
