[브레이크뉴스=주윤한 기자] 거창군이 전국 최초의 어린이 전용 공유냉장고 ‘꾸러기 천사 점빵’을 개소했다.
22일 열린 개소식에는 구인모 거창군수를 비롯 김인수 교육장, 군의원, 전영태 거창초등학교 교장과 학생 대표, 후원자와 자원봉사자 등 40여명이 참석한 가운데 열렸다.
어린이 공유냉장고는 현재 12개 읍면에서 운영되고 있는 거창한 공유냉장고가 어린이들이 이용하기에는 어려움이 많아 어린이들도 쉽게 이용할 수 있는 냉장고 등이 있으면 좋겠다는 주민 제안에 따라 추진하게 됐다.
앞으로 어린이 공유냉장고는 행정의 개입은 최소화하고 거창군 지역사회보장협의체가 중심이 되어 주민주도로 운영되며 자원봉사센터가 참여해 온 군민이 참여할 수 있도록 운영할 예정이다.
어린이 공유냉장고가 개소하기까지는 각계각층의 참여와 노력이 있었다.
거창청년회의소가 협조해 아림1004운동 연계사업으로 공유냉장고 외부틀이 설치됐으며 경도인쇄사에서 쇼케이스 냉장고와 미니 냉동고를 기증해 훈훈함을 더 했다.
아울러 거창 푸드뱅크, ㈜상일 서울우유협동조합 거창공장, 거창군 여성단체협의회, 거창군 아동위원회, 경상남도 여성의용소방대연합회, 시민자율방법대, 거창군자원봉사협의회, 생활공감정책참여단, 책방소문,, 라임광고 디자인그루, 거창할인마트, 가배차등 많은 단체와 개인 분들이 정기적인 후원을 약정했다.
김인수 교육장은 “명품교육 도시를 위해 노력하고 어린이들이 공유냉장고의 의미를 잘 알고 이용할 수 있도록 교육적으로도 힘쓰겠다”고 말했다.
구인모 거창군수는 “미래 거창을 이끌어 갈 어린이들이 온 군민의 관심 속에서 안전하고 건강하게 자랄 수 있는 사회적 분위기 조성해 돌봄 사각지대의 아이들이 없는 행복한 거창을 만들기 위해 노력하겠다”며 참석한 분들의 지속적인 관심과 지지를 부탁했다.
한편 거창군은 어린이 공유냉장고를 올해 12월까지 시범적으로 운영하고 그 성과를 바탕으로 향후 확대 추진 등 방안을 모색할 방침이다.
