[브레이크뉴스=주윤한 기자] 남해군은 오는 5월부터 ‘보물섬 드론 체험장’을 운영한다고 밝혔다.
상주면 상주한려해상체육공원 내에 자리잡은 ‘드론체험장’에는 강의실, 사무실, 체험장 등과 더불어 70여 대의 드론과 충전시스템, 드론시뮬레이터 등이 갖춰져 있다.
체험장은 5월부터 12월까지 매주 월요일부터 일요일까지 이용가능하며 휴무일과 수요일을 제외하고 지역 주민이나 관광객은 누구나 체험장을 방문해 무료로 프로그램을 이용할 수 있다.
체험장에서 이용가능한 프로그램으로는 △Fun-Fun 드론 기초체험 △드론축구 △드론 항공촬영 입문 등이 있으며 한 프로그램당 소요 시간은 2시간이며 체험 인원은 최소 4명, 최대 8명까지다.
또한, 드론 기초입문 과정도 운영된다.
4월 중 3일간은 드론 체험을 희망하는 농어업인 등 18명을 대상으로 진행되며 오는 5월 1일부터 19일까지는 일반인 대상으로 신청을 받아 운영할 계획이다.
5월 20일부터 31일까지는 공무원을 대상으로 한 기초입문과 심화과정을 편성 운영될 계획이다.
6월부터 프로그램 이용을 희망하는 자는 현장 방문 또는 남해군 홈페이지의 통합예약시스템을 통해 사전 예약을 하면 된다.
남해군 관계자는 “우주항공청 특별법 제정에 힘입어 드론 체험으로 새로운 레저 활동을 접하고 군민과 남해군을 찾는 관광객에게 체험형 관광 인프라 제공으로 새로운 즐길 거리를 제공하고자 한다”고 밝혔다.
