브레이크뉴스 문홍철 기자= 신용보증기금은 유니콘 기업으로 성장할 가능성이 높은 5개의 혁신 스타트업을 ‘제11기 혁신아이콘’으로 선정했다고 7일 밝혔다.
‘혁신아이콘 지원 프로그램’은 신기술 또는 혁신적인 비즈니스 모델을 가진 스타트업의 고속 성장을 지원하는 신보의 대표 스케일업(Scale-up) 프로그램으로, 이번 모집에는 총 141개 기업이 신청해 약 28대 1의 경쟁률을 기록했다.
신보는 서류심사, 현장실사 및 내·외부 전문가로 구성된 전문심사위원단의 심사를 거쳐 5개 기업을 최종 선정했다.
선정된 기업은 △실감미디어 기반 콘텐츠 제작기업 ‘닷밀’ △맞춤형 3D 프린터 장비 및 솔루션 제공기업 ‘링크솔루션’ △PM(Personal Mobility) 공유서비스 기업 ‘지바이크’ △네트워크 보안 솔루션 기업 ‘쿼드마이너’ △군집비행기술 기반 드론 관제 전문기업 ‘파블로항공’이다.
신보는 선정기업에 △3년간 최대 200억원의 신용보증 △최저보증료율(0.5%) 적용 △협약은행을 통한 추가 금리인하 △해외 진출, 각종 컨설팅, 홍보 지원 등 다양한 금융ㆍ비금융 서비스를 제공할 예정이다.
한편, 앞서 선정된 혁신아이콘 53개 기업은 총 2조535억의 후속투자 유치에 성공했으며, 현재까지 6개 기업이 코스닥에 상장했고 1개 기업이 유니콘 기업으로 성장했다.
신보 관계자는 “대내외 경제 불확실성 확대로 벤처스타트업 투자도 위축된 만큼 정책금융의 역할이 어느 때보다 중요한 상황”이라며 “앞으로도 신보는 체계적인 스케일업 지원 프로그램을 통해 더 많은 스타트업들이 유니콘 기업으로 성장하도록 지원을 아끼지 않겠다”고 말했다.
