9일, 잔뜩 기대했던 윤석열 대통령의 기자회견이 있었다.
불경기와 민생고는 자본주의에서 크게 기업의 기술혁신 투자 미흡과 소비자 구매력 저하에서 온다. 동네 운동회처럼 청백으로 나뉘어 우리 편 이기라고 목청 높인다고 될 일이 아니다.
쌀독 안이 바닥났다면, 부자와 국가가 구휼미를 푸는 것이 고래(古來)의 치세술이다. 여기저기 무너지고 신음하는 소리가 하늘에 닿았는데, 대통령이 곧 국민소득 4만 불 5만 불 청사진 깃발만 흔들어 대니 그간 박살 난 쌀바가지를 붙들고 기우제(祈雨祭)만 지내란 말인가? 발등의 불인 민생고를 무지갯빛 청사진만 보고 인내하란 것은 어설픈 희망 고문이다.
