이번 지방세정 종합평가는 22개 시·군의 지방세 및 체납액 징수실적, 세수확충 실적, 세정운영 기반조성 등 4개 분야, 24개 세부 항목을 지표로 지난해 세정업무 전반을 심사했다.
경주시는 이번 평가에서 평가 항목 전반에 걸쳐 탁월한 성적을 거뒀으며, 특히 지방세 징수실적에서 높은 점수를 받았다.
또 철저한 세원관리와 공정하고 정확한 과세로 지난 2022년 대비 140억 원이 증가한 4353억 원을 징수해 자주재원 확충에도 크게 기여했다.
