충남 태안군이 국내 최대 규모의 드론 전문시설인 ‘태안군UV랜드’를 지역 주민들에게 개방하는 특별한 이벤트를 추진한다.
이를 위해 태안군은 매달 한 차례 군민들이 태안군UV랜드의 주요 시설을 체험할 수 있는 ‘TN-Day(TaeaN Day)’ 프로그램을 운영키로 하고 오는 5월 26일 첫 행사에 돌입한다고 22일 밝혔다.
이번 프로그램은 최근 드론 인구가 크게 늘었음에도 드론 비행에 제약이 많아 이용에 어려움이 있는 데 따른 것으로, 군은 군민들이 우수한 비행 시설을 활용할 수 있는 기회를 제공하고 태안군UV랜드와 지역 간 상생을 도모하고자 매달 1회 주말 비행의 날을 지정·운영한다고 설명했다.
이용 대상은 군민 및 군민이 포함된 1인 이상 5인 이하의 팀으로, 운용하고자 하는 기체(드론)의 조종자 자격 증명을 보유해야 한다. 엔진 동력을 사용하는 드론은 운용이 제한되며 고도 100m 미만, 반경 300m 이내에서 이용할 수 있다.
오전(오전 9시~오후 1시)과 오후(오후 1시~5시) 각 4시간씩 이용할 수 있으며 종일(오전 9시~오후 5시) 이용도 가능하다. 오전·오후 각각 최대 5팀까지 입장 가능하다.
이용료는 팀별 인원 수에 상관 없이 조종자 한 명에게만 부과되며 요금은 2만 원(종일 3만 원), 고등학생 이하 학생은 1만 5천원(종일 2만 5천 원)이다. 조종자가 군민일 경우 1만 원(종일 1만 5천 원)에 이용할 수 있으며 군민과 학생 중복 할인은 불가하다.
신청은 태안군UV랜드 홈페이지 내 QR코드에 접속하면 ehlrh, 신청 시 기체등록증과 조종자자격증명, 비행신청서를 첨부해야 하며 조종자가 학생 또는 군민이라면 학생증과 신분증을 당일 지참하면 된다. 5월 26일 행사는 25일까지 신청 가능하며, 6월 이후 개방일은 추후 확정·공지될 예정이다.
태안군UV랜드는 남면 기업도시로 1133 일원 11만 5703㎡ 면적의 부지에 조성된 드론 등 무인기 전용시설이다. 무인조종 멀티센터를 비롯해 400m 길이의 활주로, 광장, 1만 6800㎡에 달하는 드론 교육장이 있으며, 국제대회 규격의 드론 레이싱 서킷과 멀티콥터 이·착륙이 가능한 헬리패드 등도 조성돼 있다.
