보도자료에 따르면, 시온기독교선교센터에서 수강 중인 한 탈북민은 “탈북이라는 힘든 경험을 했는데, 여기까지 온 게 하나님을 만나려, 이 말씀을 만나려 하신 게 아닌가 하는 생각이 들었다”면서 말씀을 배우길 망설이는 이들에게 “어려움이 있겠지만 나처럼 한 번 들어보셨으면 좋겠다”고 말했다.
