세종시가 민관협력 배달앱 ‘땡겨요’에서 지역화폐 여민전으로 결제 시 지급했던 추가 캐시백 혜택을 계속 제공한다고 2일 밝혔다.
앞서 세종시는 5월 가정의 달을 맞아 배달앱 ‘땡겨요’에서 여민전으로 결제 시 12% 캐시백을 지원하는 이벤트를 진행했다.
세종시는 최근 행정안전부 주관 지역사랑상품권 정책사업지원 공모사업에 선정되면서 국비 3천600만 원을 확보했다고 밝혔다.
당초 추가 캐시백 지급은 한시적 이벤트로 추진할 예정이었으나 이번 공모사업 선정에 따라 국비를 추가 확보해 캐시백 지급 혜택을 이어 나갈 수 있게 됐다.
소비자들은 ‘땡겨요’에서 여민전으로 결제 시 기존 7% 캐시백에 더해 추가 5% 캐시백 혜택을 지속해서 받을 수 있다.
추가 캐시백 5% 지급은 배달앱 사용 금액 정산 후 다음 달 말에 개인별로 일괄 지급되며 지급 한도는 월 최대 2만 원이다.
세종시는 캐시백 지원이 소비자들의 경제적 부담을 덜어주는 것은 물론 배달앱 이용을 촉진해 지역 소상공인들의 매출 증대에도 기여할 것으로 기대하고 있다.
