(브레이크뉴스인천 박상도 기자) 경인지방통계청이 12일, 2024년 5월 인천시 고용동향을 발표했다.

 

자료에서 15세이상인구 및 경제활동인구를 살펴보면, 2024년 5월 15세이상인구는 266만 5천명으로 전년동월대비 4만 7천명(1.8%) 증가했다.

 

경제활동인구는 175만 4천명으로 전년동월대비 3만 2천명(1.8%) 증가했으며 경제활동참가율은 65.8%로 전년동월과 동일했다.

 

비경제활동인구는 91만 1천명으로 전년동월대비 1만 6천명(1.7%) 증가했다.

 

성별 전년동월대비 증감을 보면 남자는 33만 5천명으로 1만 4천명(4.4%), 여자는 57만 6천명으로 1천명(0.2%) 각각 증가했다.

 

취업자 동향에서 취업자 및 고용률를 보면, 2024년 5월 취업자는 169만 4천명으로 전년동월대비 2만 5천명(1.5%) 증가했다.

 

성별 전년동월대비 증감을 보면 남자는 95만명으로 6천명(0.6%), 여자는 74만 4천명으로 1만 9천명(2.6%) 각각 증가했다.

 

고용률은 63.6%로 전년동월대비 0.2%p 하락했다.

직업별 취업자의 전년동월대비 증감을 보면, 관리자ㆍ전문가 4만 8천명(14.5%), 사무종사자 1만 2천명(4.0%) 각각 증가했으나, 기능·기계조작·조립·단순종사자는 3만명(-4.5%), 서비스ㆍ판매종사자 8천명(-2.1%) 각각 감소했다.

 

종사상 지위별 취업자에서 종사상 지위별로 전년동월대비 증감을 보면 임금근로자 2만 9천명(2.2%) 증가했으나, 비임금근로자 5천명(-1.5%) 감소했다.

 

임금근로자 중 상용근로자 4만 6천명(4.7%), 일용근로자 1천명(1.7%) 각각 증가했으나, 임시근로자 1만 7천명(-5.4%) 감소했다.

 

비임금근로자 중 무급가족종사자 2백명(0.8%) 증가했으나, 자영업자 5천명(-1.7%) 감소했다.

 

취업시간대별 취업자에서 취업시간대별 취업자의 전년동월대비 증감을 보면, 36시간 미만 취업자는 89만 1천명으로 56만 6천명(174.5%) 증가했으나, 36시간 이상 취업자는 78만 4천명으로 53만 8천명(-40.7%) 감소했다.
