브레이크뉴스 문홍철 기자= 농협중앙회는 NH투자증권 소속 박민지 선수에게 특별 인센티브를 전달했다고 12일 밝혔다.
전달식은 지난 11일 오후 서대문 농협중앙회 본관에서 개최됐으며, 강호동 농협중앙회장, 윤병운 NH투자증권 사장, 문석근 농협재단 사무총장 등이 참석했다.
박민지 선수는 지난 9일 ‘KLPGA 2024 셀트리온 퀸즈 마스터즈 대회’에서 우승상금으로 받은 2억1600만원 전액을 불우이웃에게 기부하기로 결정했다.
이에 농협은 박민지 선수의 기부 뜻을 존중하고 동참하는 차원으로 기존 우승 인센티브 금액에 추가 금액을 지원해 우승상금과 동일한 2억1600만원의 특별 인센티브를 지급하기로 결정했다.
박 선수는 기부금 중 총 1억원을 농협재단을 통해 기부한다는 의사를 전했다. 해당 기부금은 농협재단이 추진하는 장학·복지사업에 활용될 예정이다.
