원자력환경공단, 예금보험공사 합동 사회공헌 사업 시행

【브레이크뉴스 경주】박희경 기자=한국원자력환경공단(이사장 조성돈, 이하 공단)은 예금보험공사(사장 유재훈, 이하 예보)와 함께 지난 27일과 28일 양일간 사회복지법인 송죽원 원아를 대상으로‘경주 역사·문화·에너지 체험 활동’을 실시했다고 1일 밝혔다.

이번 체험활동은 공단과 예보가 합동으로 진행하는 첫 번째 사회공헌 사업으로 사회적약자인 시설아동들을 대상으로 시행했다.

경주의 대표적 유적지인 대릉원, 첨성대, 천마총 등을 문화해설사와 함께 둘러보고, 공단 홍보관인 코라디움과 중저준위사업본부 등을 견학 후 봉길리 해수욕장을 체험하는 순서로 진행하였으며, 보이스피싱 예방교육 등 기초적인 금융교육 또한 실시했다.

한편 공단과 예보는 지난 6월 3일 공공기관으로서의 사회적역할(ESG)을 위한 업무협약을 체결하였으며, 금번 체험활동을 시작으로 하반기에는 경주지역의 아동복지시설과 자립청소년 등으로도 확대하여 시행할 예정이다.
