윤석열 대통령이 4일 신임 금융위원장에 김병환 기획재정부 1차관(53), 신임 환경부 장관에 김완섭 전 기재부 2차관(56)을 각각 지명할 것으로 전해졌다.
또 기재부 1차관에 김범석 대통령실 경제금융비서관이 승진 발령될 것으로 알려졌고, 박범수 농해수비서관은 농림축산식품부 차관에 내정됐다. 이날 대통령실에 따르면 윤 대통령은 이르면 이날 이 같은 개각을 단행할 계획이다.
김병환 1차관은 1971년생으로 서울대 경제학과 졸업 후 영국 버밍엄대 대학원 경영학과 석사 학위를 취득했다. 행정고시 37회로 옛 재정경제원에서 공직에 입문 후 금융정책실 증권업무담당관실·증권제도담당관실 등에서 근무했고, 기재부에선 경제정책국 자금시장과장·경제분석과장·경제정책국장 등을 역임했다.
윤석열 정부 출범과 함께 대통령직인수위원회 전문위원에 이어 대통령실 경제금융비서관에 임명됐고, 지난해 8월 기재부 1차관에 임명된 후 10개월 만에 장관급 금융위원장에 내정됐다.
김완섭 전 2차관은 1968년생으로 고려대 경영학과 졸업 후 서울대 행정학 석사를 거쳐 미국 미주리주립대에서 경제학 박사 학위를 땄다.
행정고시 36회로 공직에 입문해 기재부에서 공공혁신기획관·재정성과심의관·부총리비서실장·사회예산심의관·예산총괄심의관·예산실장 등을 거쳤다. 윤석열 정부 대통령직인수위원회 기획조정분과에 파견되기도 했고, 지난해 6월 기재부 2차관으로 발탁됐다.
한편 김홍일 전 방송통신위원장이 더불어민주당 탄핵 추진으로 자진 사퇴하면서 공석이 된 자리는 이진숙 전 대전MBC 사장이 유력 거론 중이다.
