동국대학교 WISE캠퍼스 글로컬 파트너십 협약체결

【브레이크뉴스 경주】박희경 기자=동국대학교 WISE캠퍼스는 지난 11일 교내 원효관 4층 글로벌 ACE홀에서 지·산·학·연 상생 협력을 위한 ‘동국대학교 WISE캠퍼스 글로컬 파트너십’협약을 체결했다고 12일 밝혔다.

이날 협약식에는 류완하 동국대학교 WISE캠퍼스 총장, 주낙영 경주시장, 이동협 경주시의회 의장, 이상걸 경주상공회의소 회장, 글로컬 파트너십 협약 기업 50개 업체가 참석했다.

이번 글로컬 파트너십 협약으로 동국대학교 WISE캠퍼스는 청년 인구의 지역 유입 확대를 위한 정주형 일자리 창출, 지역 전략산업 분야의 우수 인재 공급을 통해 지역 자립형 글로컬 대학으로 도약하게 된다.

이상걸 경주상공회의소 회장은 “글로컬 파트너십 협약식에 참석해주신 지역 기업체 대표님들께 감사드리며, ”기업의 수요를 반영한 교육, 청년인구 유출 방지, 지역 경제 활성화에 도움이 되는 이번 협약에 최선을 다해 지원하겠다“고 말했다.

이동협 경주시의회 의장은 “청년인구 감소로 어려움을 겪고 있는 지역기업과 지역대학의 해결 방안으로 이번 글로컬 파트너십 협약식이 체결되게 되었다며, ”경주시의회도 모든 역량을 집중하여 지원하겠다“고 말했다.

주낙영 경주시장은 “대학과 기업 그리고 지자체가 함께하는 글로컬 파트너십 협약 체결로 지역 인재가 지역대학에 진학하여 지역 기업의 수요를 반영한 교육과정을 이수한 후 지역기업에 취직하여 지역에 정주할수 있는 여건이 조성될수 있도록 경주시의 모든 지원을 다할 것이다”고 말했다.

류완하 동국대학교 WISE캠퍼스 총장은 환영사에서 “이번 지·산·학·연 글로컬 파트너십 협약 체결을 통해서 우리 대학은 혁신적이고 창의적인 교육으로 지역사회에 필요한 우수한 인재를 육성하고, 그 인재가 지역기업에 취업하고 정주하는 선순환 구조를 만들 수 있도록 대학 구성원 모두 최선의 노력을 다할 것이다”라고 말했다.
