이날 행사에서 좌장격인 이영훈 목사는 '하나님께서 구하시는 것'을 주제로 한 설교에서 "하나님 앞에서 정의로운 삶을 살아야 한다"고 강조했고, 황우여 국민의힘 비대워원장과 민주당 출신의 김진표 전 의장은 인삿말에서 적대적인 여야 정치권을 향해 '상대를 인정하는 품격있는 정치'를 각별히 주문했다.
