7월16일 12시 프레스센터 19층 기자클럽 엠바고 룸에서 월간 '리더 피플' 창간 15주년 행사가 있었습니다.
월간 '리더 피플'의 김동성 발행인은 1980년대 초, 필자가 중앙일보가 발행했던 '여성중앙'-'영레이디'-'학생중앙'에 기고를 했었는데, 이때 이 분은 중앙일보 출판국 기자였습니다. 이때부터 절친(切親)이니 긴 인연입니다. '리더 피플' 김동성 발행인의 초청으로 이날 창간 15주년 행사에 참석, 축사를 했습니다. 아래는 이날 축사의 전문입니다.
