서산시, 동부전통시장 대규모 주차장 조성

서산시 내 대표적인 재래시장인 동부전통시장에 대규모 주차장이 들어서게 된다.

충남 서산시에 따르면 증가하는 동부전통시장 이용객의 주차 편의성을 향상하기 위해 동문동 800번지 일원 동부전통시장 제2주차장을 대규모 주차장으로 조성한다고 14일 밝혔다.

이와 관련 서산시는 14일 시장실에서 서산동부전통시장 대규모 주차장 조성사업 기본 및 실시설계 용역 착수보고회를 개최했다고 밝혔다.

이날 보고회는 용역사로부터 지난 3월 주차장 조성 사업 설계 공모에서 당선된 작품의 설명을 듣고 의견을 공유하는 자리가 됐다.

서산시는 이날 착수보고회를 시작으로 2025년 2월 기본 및 실시설계를 완료하고, 같은 해 12월까지 동부전통시장 제2주차장에 지상 2층, 주차면 260여 대 규모의 주차전용건축물을 조성할 방침이다.
