용인특례시의회, 골목형상점가 설명회 개최

[브레이크뉴스경기남부=용인 이현준기자] 용인특례시의회 이윤미 의원은 골목형상점가 설명회를 개최했다.

지난 30일 설명회에는 유진선 의장을 비롯해 이윤미, 박희정, 신나연, 박인철 의원과 장정임 용인시 민생경제과장 및 신창락 상지대학교 명예교수가 참석했다.

유진선 의장은 ”용인시 골목형상점가가 조속히 지정되고 확대되어 지역 상권이 활성화되기를 기대한다“고 전했다.

골목형 상점가 도입과 활성화를 위해 자발적으로 전문적인 컨설팅을 도맡아 해 온 신창락 상지대학교 명예교수는 이번 설명회에서 소상공인 경제활성화를 위한 골목형상점가의 필요성을 강조했다.

신 명예교수는 골목형상점가의 도입 배경을 비롯해 소상공인 점포 밀집 구역을 골목형상점가로 지정할 수 있는 법적 근거와 인정 방법, 인정기준 등에 대해 자세히 설명했다. 업종과 관계없이 소상공인 점포가 밀집한 구역을 지자체가 골목형상점가로 지정하여 정부 지원을 받을 수 있도록 하자는 것이 주요 골자이다.

신 교수는 골목형상점가 지원사항과 신청방법 및 지정 절차 등에 대해서도 설명을 덧붙임으로써 시에서 업무를 원활히 추진하는데 도움이 될 수 있도록 했다.

한편, 지난 4월 12일 ’용인시 전통시장 및 상점가 육성을 위한 조례‘ 개정 시행에 따라 골목형상점가 지정기준이 완화됐다. 골목형상점가로 지정되면 다양한 혜택이 주어지는 만큼 시는 골목형상점가 신규지정 확대를 통해서 온누리상품권 가맹점을 확대하고자 한다.

이번 설명회를 개최한 이윤미 의원은 ”골목형상점가가 활성화될 수 있도록 적극적인 지원과 협력을 통해 더 많은 소상공인들이 혜택을 받을 수 있기를 기대하며, 그동안 침체되어 온 지역 상권에 활력이 불어넣어지기를 바란다“고 말했다.
