[브레이크뉴스경기남부=수원 이현준기자] 수원시가 ‘2024 차세대 반도체 패키징 산업전(ASPS 2024)’을 성공적으로 마무리했다.
8월 28일부터 30일까지 수원컨벤션센터에서 열린 ‘2024 차세대 반도체 패키징 산업전’에는 1만 1500여 명이 찾았다.
삼성전자, SK하이닉스, 레조낙, 펨트론 등 168개 사가 참여해 328개 부스를 운영하며 반도체 패키징 테스트 장비·어셈블리 장비 등을 전시해 관람객들의 발길을 끌었다.
2024 차세대 반도체 패키징 산업전은 산업전시회와 기업별 기술 세미나, 국내외 반도체 패키징 트렌드·기술 동향을 소개하는 국제포럼(반도체 패키징 트렌드 포럼), 채용박람회 등으로 진행됐다.
종합반도체기업, OSAT(외주반도체패키지테스트) 기업, 관련 산·학·연 전문가들에게 신기술과 제품 동향을 소개했다.
글로벌 패키징 장비 기업 ASMPT의 C.K.림 수석부사장, 일본 레조낙의 히데노리 아베 전무이사, 삼성전자 김희열 상무 등이 강연해 호응을 얻었다. 이번 포럼에는 700여 명이 사전에 참가 신청을 하며 큰 관심을 받았다.
개막식은 반도체 패키징 트렌드포럼과 연계해 ‘거버넌스 특별세션’으로 진행됐는데 이재준 수원시장은 개회사에서 “산업계가 차세대 패키징 기술로 미래를 준비하는 것처럼 수원시도 반도체 기업들이 성장할 수 있는 기반을 단단하게 다지겠다”고 말했다.
산업전시회에서는 참여기업의 기술세미나를 열어 행사의 전문성을 높였다. 기술세미나에는 1100여 명이 참가했다. 삼성전자 부스에서는 반도체 패키징 분야 채용 상담을 해 취업준비생들에게 호응을 얻었다.
수원시는 정책관(1개)과 기업관(3개)으로 이뤄진 ‘수원시 공동관’을 운영했다. ‘탑동 이노베이션밸리’에 관심을 보이며 분양을 문의하는 관람객이 많았다.
SK하이닉스, LG화학, 투자사 등이 참여한 반도체 구매상담회에서는 43개 기업이 참가해 상담했고, 총 5억 원 규모의 계약을 추진하기로 했다.
2025 차세대 반도체 패키징 산업전은 수원컨벤션센터와 ISIG(국제반도체산업그룹)가 공동 주최하는 ‘2025 ISES KOREA(글로벌 반도체 경영진 서밋)’과 함께 개최할 예정이다.
ISES는 글로벌 반도체 기업의 경영진이 연사로 참여해 첨단 반도체 산업의 주요 신기술과 미래 방향성을 논의하는 국제포럼이다. ISES 동시 개최로 글로벌 기업의 참가가 늘어날 것으로 보인다.
수원시 관계자는 “차세대 반도체 패키징 산업전이 세계적인 B2B(기업 간 거래) 전문 전시회로 거듭날 수 있도록 노력하겠다”며 “올해 산업전의 성과를 철저하게 분석한 후 2025년 산업전 사업계획을 수립하겠다”고 말했다.
