이권재 오산시장, ‘무궁화금장’ 수상

[브레이크뉴스경기남부=오산 이현준기자] 오산시가 한국스카우트연맹에서 수여하는 최고 훈장인 무궁화금장을 수상했다.

지난 31일 곤지암야영장에서 자연과 함께하는 스카우트 여름 숲속캠프는 한국스카우트 경기남부연맹에서 주관해 개최됐다.

이 시장은 지난 2023년 새만금 세계스카우트 잼버리에서 태풍 북상으로 철수한 멕시코 대원들을 위해 문화체험과 재난안전대비교육, 청소년 교류 등다양한 프로그램을 준비하여 청소년을 지원하고 이 외에도 오산시 청소년의건전한 육성을 위해 다양한 지원을 아끼지 않은 공로를 인정받았다.
